Radiation safety, out of the spreadsheet.
CurieLedger™ gives Radiation Safety Officers and the facilities they support one connected workspace for leak tests, surveys, dosimetry, waste, licenses and inspection records.

Watch
See CurieLedger in 60 seconds.
A quick tour of both sides: what a facility sees, what its RSO sees, and how records move between them.
- 0:06Client side: dashboard, due dates, submitting from a phone, signed approvals
- 0:24RSO side: every client on one dashboard, review queue, decay-in-storage, inspection packages
- 0:44Two perspectives, one connected workspace
The problem
Too many radiation safety programs still run on Excel, Access and binders.
That works until a leak test is missed, a badge goes unreturned or an inspector asks for three years of surveys by Friday.
Scattered records
Surveys in one file, dosimetry in another, leak tests in a binder down the hall.
Deadlines that slip
Semiannual inventories, annual reviews and license renewals tracked by memory and sticky notes.
Inspection scramble
Days spent pulling records together instead of keeping the program safe.
Two sides, one workspace
Built like accounting software for a business and its accountant.
Facilities submit their records. Their RSO reviews, approves and sees every program at a glance.
Clinics, labs and departments
- A dashboard showing what's done, what's due and what's overdue
- Submit leak tests, surveys and logs from any phone or computer
- Your RSO's signed approval on every record
- Staff badges, waste on hold and license dates in one place

Radiation Safety Officers and health physicists
- Every client's compliance on one dashboard, with reports due by month
- A review queue with numbered, signed approvals
- Dose tracking against ALARA Level I and II
- Leak test alerts at the 0.005 µCi action level
- Decay-in-storage hold times that respect federal and state minimums
- Inspection-ready packages with retention periods, as PDF or spreadsheet
- Rules for each state and territory, and for medical, broad scope and industrial programs
- Simple import from your existing spreadsheets
How it works
From upload to inspection-ready in three steps.
Facility submits
Staff upload the record with the date, result, instrument and area. Problems like a failed leak test are flagged right away.
RSO reviews and signs
The RSO approves, adds conditions or sends it back with a note. Every approval is numbered and signed.
Ready for inspectors
Records are organized by inspection area with retention periods, and gaps show in red before the inspector does.

About
Why I built CurieLedger
I'm Thomas Baynum, founder of Baynum Financial & Analytics, LLC. My background is in accounting, fiscal analysis and data analytics. I've spent my career turning messy records into clean, reliable systems, from bookkeeping cleanups to reconciliation and reporting platforms.
CurieLedger started at home. My wife is a Radiation Safety Officer, and for years I've listened to her describe the same frustrations: compliance tracked in spreadsheets and Access databases, deadlines held together by memory, and days lost to inspection prep.
I realized radiation safety has the same problem accounting solved long ago. The people doing the work need a ledger they can trust, with one place to record it, review it and prove it. CurieLedger brings that discipline to radiation safety, shaped at every step by a working RSO.
